North London Cross Country Championship 2023

On Saturday 28th October, 12 Stags made their way to Hackney Marshes for the North London Cross Country Championship. I am told there was slipping and sliding, ducking under a fallen tree, and having to jump over some trees too. Proper cross country!

The women's team raced first and finished in 11th place and were the 6th Masters team. With only four of them they just made a up a team, but they did a fantastic job in completing the race in such treacherous conditions. The women's team was led home by Sarah Moffatt, followed by Ann Phillips, Mandy Violet, and Geraldine Stapleton. 

The men's team did a great job coming in 12th and the Masters team coming in 10th. The men's team was led home by Joe Ward, followed by Callum Sydenham, Rob Scott, Brian Lallaway, Grahame Davies, Pete Ellis, Mark Glover, and Chris Violet.
