The Liddiard Trophy

Saturday 4th November saw the 75th Liddiard Trophy contest take place; 19 Stags started and 18 finished. The day was bright and dry, but the course was proper cross country; wet and muddy. Blame the rain during the week. The men and women raced together over the 8km course. 

The men were led home by Eds Spencer and Fraser, in very close order, while the women were led home by Jana Jilkova, followed by Davina Gutteridge. The men’s team finished in 8th place and the women finished in 6th place. Well done everyone; great racing! The very nice commemorative medal was well earned.
